LEARN ABOUT
Spearman’s SP4K program
Kids can’t learn if they’re hungry but they can change the world when they’re full.™
Spearman SP4K has proudly served our community since 2014! We provide brand new, brand-name food for hungry kids in our schools, discreetly sending Snack Pak bags home over the weekend so students are ready to learn on Monday. It’s our mission to end weekend hunger! We believe kids deserve to have the nourishment and encouragement they need to thrive and succeed. Our program serves students experiencing food insecurity at Gus Birdwell Elementary, Spearman Junior High and Spearman High School.
We depend on donations to maintain our program and 100% of contributions are used to buy food only. We would be honored to help you remember your loved one with a gift in memory or in honor of someone. Every gift will make a difference as we serve our kids.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Do you need volunteer hours? Are you a Green Cord student? We welcome all helpers! We need volunteers to help pack bags and deliver totes to the school. If you’re ready to make a difference, join us at 5:15 pm on the first Wednesday of the month (excluding holidays).
LOCATION:
We are based out of the O’Loughlin Center at 502 S. Brandt St. in Spearman, Texas.
