Sunray’s SP4K program
Sunray ISD is dedicated to providing assistance to the students and children in our community. Working with organizations like Snack Pak 4 Kids, we are able to provide pre-packed bags of brand-name food to students to take home on weekends. All three campuses participate in Snack Pak 4 Kids. Sunray’s Elementary, Middle, and High School collectively serve between 30-50 students each year. The purpose of Snack Pak 4 Kids is to ensure students in food-insecure households have enough food when they are not at school.
In Sunray, our NJHS students volunteer to pack the food, and then it is sent home discreetly with students that are in need.
