“A cool story to tell.”
That’s how Katrina Huffstutler of the Cattle Resources Guide 2018 describes the partnership between cattle feeders, industry farmers, and the SP4K Beef Stik.
This partnership has helped produce the only beef stick on the market made solely with 100 percent premium chuck and roast and brisket.
However, it’s so much more than that. It’s about ensuring kids have the tools they need to gain a quality education – and allowing cattle feeders the opportunity to share their story in a way that showcases their generosity and the quality product they’ve worked so hard to produce.
“When you realize there is this kind of need in your community, especially with children, you have to help,” Trevor Caviness, president of Caviness Beef Packers, said in an interview with Huffstutler. “You have to do whatever you can to help these kids.”
Together, the beef industry and Snack Pak 4 Kids have come leaps and bounds to create a protein-packed snack that impacts hungry kids so they can learn on Monday mornings. And with every Beef Stik sold, that impact grows.
“Filling stomachs is just the beginning,” Caviness said. “Once this basic need is met, children can focus on the priceless gift of education.”
